Bing recently announced that it would be including Tweets from Twitter users in its search results, and, according to the official blog, Google is now about to do the same.

Google say they are excited about an agreement reached with Twitter to add updates in search results – as an enhancement to the user experience by including real-time information from direct observation.
This effectively nullifies Bing’s attempts at gaining the advantage in up-to-the-second search. Bing are, however, including public Facebook updates (the vast majority are not public).
Twitter will therefore now enjoy a major boost in its online significance, and coupled by the recent venture capital injection of $100 million, the future looks very bright.
